Active Sensors is a market leader in control sensors design and manufacture. We are a privately owned company and operate in a relaxed, but very professional environment. Due to an increase in our new product engineering activities we need to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer specialising in solenoid valves.
The candidate will have a minimum qualification of HNC in mechanical engineering and a proven background in the electro-mechanical industry, preferably solenoid valve technology. You will control the technical information required to support the products component manufacture, final assembly and testing. Organisational and communication skills would be essential to lead this new project from the design stage to completion. You will be proficient in the use of engineering design software and have an eye for detail, quality and project deadlines.
Skills:
- Minimum 3 years experience in electro-mechanical design
- Drawing preparation utilising CAD software
- Design reviews and technical support for solenoid products
- Review Engineering Change Notes (ECN)
- Technical support for customers

- 38 hours per week (four & half day week)
