Active Sensors is a market leader in the design and manufacture of control and measurement sensors, typically LVDT and RVDT inductive devices. We are an independently owned company operating in an informal, but very professional environment. The company is continuing with its international growth strategy in avionic sensor markets and now needs to recruit an ENVIRONMENTAL TEST TECHNICIAN (ENGINEER).
You will be required to verify product design through environmental testing at an external test house. Your duties will include setting up and performing vibration, climatic, thermal, ingress and other tests relating to aerospace qualification. Generating internal and external test reports and liaising with the engineering department to feedback results and conclusions. The candidate should have knowledge of aerospace specifications RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-810.

Experience in testing techniques and acceptance procedures

Qualified in a suitable engineering discipline

Understand EMC/EMI testing
