Overview
These non-contacting Hall Effect rotary sensors provide accurate and reliable measurement in extreme industrial and automotive applications. Available in electrical angles up to a complete 360°, the sensors are ideal for applications such as valve position indication in industrial applications to throttle, gearbox and steering angle measurement in high dither/vibration automotive applications. The sensors are built for precision and accuracy and with no moving electrical contacts; the Hall Effect sensor offers virtually limitless operational life.
The RH5210 is constructed from aluminium alloy and utilises high-grade ball-race shaft bearings (as opposed to models with no shaft bearings). The sensor is also fitted with Raychem fire and chemical resistant cabling for extreme environmental conditions
The RH6320 sensor is constructed from stainless steel and also utilises high-grade ball-race shaft bearings and Raychem fire and chemical resistant cabling. Due to the sensors small size, it is ideal for use in confined spaces where mounting space is at a premium.
Additionally, every Hall Effect sensor manufactured by Active Sensors is heat cycled in an environmental chamber, prior to final calibration, to ensure survival at elevated temperatures during its operational life.
