New 'high performance' contactless rotary sensor now available!

These high performance RH rotary position sensors utilise non-contact Hall Effect technology. They operate from either a 5Vdc regulated or 6 to 30Vdc unregulated supply and are available with single or duel outputs and up to 360° of electrical angle. The output signal options are analogue 0.5 – 4.5V, PWM or serial CAN 2.0 and RS485. They have a 12-bit resolution (0.08°) over the measuring angle and an impressive update time of <2mS, making them ideal for dynamic control and measurement systems. The senor is constructed within an aluminium or stainless steel housing and the operating shaft is set within ‘twin’ stainless steel ball-race bearings for long operational life. The operating temperature is 125°C and very RH sensor is heat cycled prior to final calibration to ensure survival when operated at elevated temperatures. The sensors electrical angle and output signal direction, clockwise or anticlockwise is specified by the customer.
