XLT1300 series

Overview

The XLT1300 (DC/DC LVDT - Linear Variable Displacement Transducer) is a compact long life linear position sensor housed in a stainless steel body. The sensor is offered with either built-in electronics, which dispenses with the need for additional operating circuits or a separate compact signal-conditioning unit that is designed to operate remotely from the sensor, usually due to a high temperature environment or mounting space restrictions, The XLT1300 has a 12.7mm (1/2") housing Ø and has mounting options of body clamp or rod-end bearings. It operates from either a 5Vdc regulated (XLT1328) or 5 to 30Vdc unregulated supply (XLT1321/25) with an output signal of 0.5V to 4.5Vdc over the measurement range up to 200mm (8"). The XLT’s precision inductive coils have enabled an improved temperature performance (low thermal drift) compared to other similar inductive products, which is typically <±0.005%FS/°C. The manufacturing techniques employed in sensor production enable the necessary environmental protection required to provide a stable electrical output under vibration, acceleration, mechanical and thermal shock.
