  • Long operational life
  • Choice of measurement angles
  • Environmentally sealed

Description

The XRT is a rotary variable transformer (RVT) position sensor and has integral signal conditioning electronics for simplicity of operation. The housing and operating shaft are constructed form stainless steel and the internal electrical connections are fully encapsulated for protection against fluid ingress. The sensor is manufactured to quality standards required for high performance, high cyclic control and measurement systems. With measurement angles from 10° to 120°, the sensor operates from a 6 to 30Vdc unregulated supply with a low noise analogue output of 0.5V to 4.5Vdc. The XRT had precision wound inductive coils enabling an improved temperature performance (low thermal drift, typically <±0.01%FS/°C), compared to other similar inductive products. The manufacturing techniques employed in sensor production enable the necessary environmental protection required to provide a stable electrical output under vibration, acceleration, mechanical and thermal shock.

The sensor operating temperature is 125°C (257°F) and the housing is sealed to IP66 as standard
