Electronic signal conditioning for sensors

The SCU3000 miniature signal conditioning units (SCU's) are designed to operate remotely with an LVDT sensor in high temperature environments or where mounting space is a restriction. Utilised where it is prohibitive to use a sensor with integral electronics, they are extensively used in motorsport data acquisition and control systems. They require either a 5VDC regulated or 8V to 30VDC unregulated supply and provide either a voltage or current output.

The SCU signal conditional units are manufactured for the most demanding of applications, where temperature, severe shock and vibration are a consideration. Three different designs provide the option of either a thermoplastic case, aluminium case or the choice of an integral connector. They operate to a maximum temperature of 125°C (257°F).
