Submersible LVDT Linear Position Sensors

Electronic Signal Conditioning for LVDT Sensors

The SCU3000 LVDT signal conditioning units (SCUs) are designed to operate with a wide range of LVDT sensors and provide either a Voltage, CanBus, Modbus or 4 – 20 mA output. The SCUs are designed to be remote from the LVDTs high temperature hostile environment, typically in clutch actuation, gear shift and brake caliper applications. They are also advantageous where it is prohibitive to use a LVDT sensor with integral electronics. They are extensively used in motorsport and require either a 5.0Vdc regulated or 8V to 30Vdc unregulated supply. The SCUs are factory programmed with the LVDT sensor for ease of setup.
