General Purpose Magnetic-Hall Contactless Rotary Position Sensors

The general-purpose series of Magnetic-Hall contactless rotary position sensors are designed with a flange mounting case manufactured from a durable high-grade polymer and are available with the choice of either a sprung, round or blade shaft and separate magnet option. They are based on true solid-state 'hall-voltage/magnetic-field' measurement technology, which provides improved linearisation over the measurement range, overall sensor accuracy and higher operating temperatures. Fully encapsulated and environmentally sealed to IP68/IP69K, the sensors are a versatile position measurement solution for both industrial and automotive systems that experience shock and vibration, or suffer fluid and debris contamination.

MHR5100 Series

The MHR5100 general-purpose Magnetic-Hall contactless rotary position series is specified for industrial and automotive control measurement systems, where shock and vibration conditions are a consideration. Fitted within an integral bearing, the sensor is available with three different shaft mounting options that include sprung, round and blade.

Technical datasheets:

Features

  • Range 20° to 360° in 1° increments
  • Three stainless steel shaft options
  • Superior non-linearity of <±0.25 %FS
  • Sensor operates from 5 VDC or 8 to 30 VDC
  • Sealed to IP68/IP69K

MHR5140 series

The MHR5140 general-purpose Magnetic-Hall contactless rotary position series is a lightweight, two piece design specified for industrial and automotive control measurement systems, where shock and vibration conditions are a consideration. Available with the option of either a threaded bolt or free magnet, they provide the advantage of no mechanical linkages for use in harsh environments.

Technical datasheets:

Features

  • Range 20° to 360° in 1° increments
  • Sensing module with separate magnet
  • Superior non-linearity of <±0.25 %FS
  • Sensor operates from 5 VDC or 8 to 30 VDC
  • Sealed to IP68/IP69K
